“Improvement of energy and resource management in public building using EduFootprint Plus methodology” February 10th, 2022 13:00 – 16:00
We would like to invite You to the webinar: “Improvement of energy and resource management in public buildings through the EduFootprint Plus methodology”, which is organized by REIC and will be held on February 10th 2022, in the period from 13:00 to 16:00,. During the webinar the following topics will be presented:
• EduFootprint Plus project
• Life cycle assessment methodology and OEF (Organization Environmental Footprint) methods
• EduFootprint tools: calculator and application
• Development of an improvement plan
The main goal of the EduFootprint Plus project is to enable the calculation of the environmental footprint of all activities that take place in public buildings. This will be achieved by using a simplified life cycle assessment method, which identifies significant areas of impact, and then improving users’ behavior to reduce the overall footprint, through the transfer and capitalization of EduFootprint Plus project final products: calculators and applications.
The webinar will transfer a complete set of tested tools and common parameters at the transnational level, which will be able to indicate a more realistic impact of activities taking place in public buildings on the environment, including its energy consumption, and thus the planning system (e-support system, including EduFootprint tools), to understand which activities and utilities have the most significant impacts and to better plan measures based on identified needs to improve energy management through education of users.
The webinar is intended for all managers and owners of public buildings, persons employed in the technical sector in administrative buildings, as well as all persons who are actively involved in energy efficiency projects and negative environmental impacts reduction.
