Concept |
The summer school for 2010 is thematically dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency and its role in achieving sustainable development and especially in fighitng air pollution and climate change effectively together. Both environmental and social aspects of using renewable energy and impoving of energy efficiency will be considered. The summer school aims at deepening and expanding sectoral knowledge though multidisciplinary approach offering comprehensive and innovative methods of work and approaches in solving of obstacles in introducing and using renewable energy and improving energy efficiency. Goals |
• Educational support to young researchers from the region on renewable energy and energy efficiency issues
• Enhacement of interdisciplinary approach to sustainable energy issue,
• Capacity building of renewable energy and energy efficiency promotion on the regional level as an element of sustainable developemnt in the region ,
• Enhacement of dissemination of information on potentials of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the region |
