Energy Co-operatives as a driving force of local economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Regional Education and Information Center for sustainable development in SE Europe (REIC), under the project Energy Co-operatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized a one-day seminar: “Energy Co-operatives as a driving force of local economic development”.
The seminar was attended by representatives of local communities from the wider area of Banja Luka.
During the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the concept of energy co-operatives and the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina to establish them.
REIC hosted Mr. Kulaga Rajko who presented the legal aspects of the establishment of the energy cooperatives. Besides Mr. Kulaga, guests at the seminar were Mrs. Melani Furlan and Mr. Ivan Zoković, who presented similar projects from Croatia.
Within this project, two more seminars will be organized in Bijeljina and Mostar. A seminar in Bijeljina will be held on the 7th of June, while the seminar in Mostar will be held on the 27th of June.
